Kieran M. Lalor, Esq, Founder of the Lalor Law Firm, PLLC
The Lalor Law Firm was founded in 2018 by Kieran M. Lalor, a hands-on and innovative attorney. Lalor's goal was to start a law firm that provided close personal attention to clients where they live and when they need it. As a result, he located the office on Route 9 in Wappingers Fall so residents of Southern Dutchess County don't have to travel to Poughkeepsie or White Plains for outstanding legal representation.
The world we live in is hectic. Lalor understands that time is perhaps our most precious commodity. That's why he makes himself available to meet with clients when it is most convenient for them, including early in the morning before the client goes to work, late into the evening, and all times in between. Lalor keeps his cell phone on 24/7 so clients can reach him at any time.
Residential and commercial real estate transactions, estate planning, business formation, employment law, civil litigation, and business law are the focuses of Lalor's practice. He received his undergraduate degree from Providence College and his law degree from Pace University School of Law. Lalor is admitted to practice in New York State and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
A former high school teacher and a Marine Corps veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Lalor represented Dutchess County in the New York State Assembly from 2012 to 2022 where he served as the Ranking Member of the Committee on Banks and the Ranking Member of the Committee on Real Property.
Lalor is a proud member of many civic and community organizations including the Knights of Columbus, Marine Corps League, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Ancient Order of Hibernians. He has also been a coach in youth sports for more than a decade.
Lalor and his wife, Mary Jo met and married while both were working their way through law school. They live in Hopewell Junction with their four children Katie, Riley, Mikey, and Kieran, Jr.
